Is there a host at the event?

All events have a dedicated, friendly host on site to greet + check you in. The host is there to make sure you have an enjoyable event experience.

What should I wear?

Dress your best! We recommend going casual/comfy, but look good, feel good, right?

Do you do anything to manage gender splits/ratios?

We only release a limited number of male/female tickets for each heterosexual singles event. Our team keeps a close eye on the headcount leading up to the events so we can update accordingly.

Do I need to bring a trivia team?

No, the host will assign you a team on arrival. They’ll be lots of time for mingling too so come solo, or with friends!

CHECK-IN & GET SETTLED
Once scanned, you’ll get your wristband, and name tag with your team number!
Grab a drink, get comfortable 🥂

GET TO KNOW YOUR OPPONENTS
Mix and mingle with people that don’t have the same team number! You’ll have plenty of time to mix with your team members later on 🧩

TRIVIA TIME

  1. Find everyone with the same number as you - this is your team!
  2. Claim a table/space, come up with a team name, and assign team roles.
  3. You’ll need a scribe to write the answers, someone to grade the answer sheet, and another person to shout!
  4. Once you’ve done all three, throw a ‘thumbs up’ in the air 👍
  5. When all teams are ready, the host will distribute answer sheets!
  6. Listen up - your host will need your attention 👂

There will be 4 x 10-minute rounds for questions/answers, plus a bonus round!
